Custom Buildings in Osceola County, Florida

Osceola County is our home county, and it is far bigger and far more rural than most people realize. Past Saint Cloud and Kissimmee it runs south and east into some of the largest working cattle country in Florida, through Holopaw, Deer Park, and Kenansville toward the Okeechobee line.

That means the range of what we build here is wide: a two-stall barn on five acres outside Narcoossee, a hay and equipment barn on a working ranch, a shop building for a trade, or a detached garage on a lot in town. Our shop is in Saint Cloud, so all of it is local work for us.

What we build in Osceola County

Ranch country, wet season, and county permitting

The county is flat, sandy, and crossed with drainage. In the wet season water sits where it wants to, so pad height and where a building goes on the property matter more than almost any other decision in the project.

Permits run through Kissimmee or Saint Cloud inside those city limits and through the Osceola County building department everywhere else, which covers most of the county by land area. We work with all three regularly.

Distances out here are real. A ranch job near Kenansville is an hour from town, and knowing that going in is part of scheduling the build properly rather than discovering it on delivery day.

We build throughout Osceola County, including Saint Cloud, Kissimmee, Narcoossee, Harmony, Holopaw, Deer Park, Kenansville, Poinciana, and Intercession City. See our Saint Cloud page or view all service areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you based in Osceola County?

Yes. Buildings By Bill is headquartered in Saint Cloud and has built throughout Osceola County for over 35 years, licensed in Florida as CRC1334091.

Do you build on working ranches?

Regularly. Hay barns, equipment and implement cover, and shop buildings are common on the ranch land south and east of Saint Cloud, and we build them with the same crews that do our residential work.

How does the wet season affect my build?

Mostly through site work. Flat sandy ground holds water in the rainy months, so pad height and drainage get planned for September conditions rather than March ones.
